A quick affiliate link shout out

If you've been following my blog for awhile you may have noticed that I've pretty much taken down all of my affiliate links. I had a bunch up last year but they didn't produce any revenue and I felt like they were cluttering up my blog. However today I got an email from my affiliate network that made me really excited! So I just had to introduce you to my very favorite book self-publisher: blurb.

I've ordered from blurb twice and have been nothing but pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of the end product. The first time I ever used blurb was when I was preparing to print my first client wedding album. It would double as a proof book for the bride so I wanted something that looked great, was highly customizable and wasn't too expensive. I tried every other photo book printer that I'd heard of and loved blurb.

Which is why the next time I wanted to print up a photo book I used blurb. I compiled some of my favorite photographs and quotes from some of my more thoughtful blog posts into a photo book.  The quality of this book is just fantastic. I love it to pieces! Here are a few of my favorite spreads:

Why do I love blurb so much that I'm dedicating an entire post to it? Here's the deal. If you need guidance and want a well-designed template to guide you: they've got it. But if you're more like me and want some control to the design - they've got that too with the most easily customizable software for self-publishing. It beats every thing else I've tried by a mile for about the same price.

Blurb is perfect for self-publishing photography books, baby books, family albums, family cookbooks, you can even have that novel you've been keeping squirreled away on your hard drive printed up into a book. They also have a blog-to-book feature that allows you to convert blog posts into a book!

In addition to being an amazing way to self-publish there is also a huge market of books available for purchase. One of my favorites is from Jen and it's called Simply Breakfasts she's a very talented photographer and artist.

I could ramble on and on about how cool this website is - but why don't you just check it out for yourself? You will be inspired to get those photos off of your hard drive (or Flickr account) and into an album. Or to finally finish that blog-to-book project you've been putting off. So go visit blurb now. You will be so glad that you did.
